Little Ochi Seafood Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Little Ochi Seafood Restaurant on Dulwich Road is like finding a hidden corner of the Caribbean tucked within London. The space feels warmly familiar—intimate but unpretentious—with an easygoing rhythm that encourages you to settle in and savor the moment. It’s the kind of place where the clink of glasses and quiet chatter weave together naturally, setting a relaxed mood that feels both timeless and inviting.
Here, time seems to slow just enough to appreciate the rich layers of flavor and culture being lovingly served. The kitchen’s focus on fresh, beautifully prepared seafood creates a genuine connection to the sea and the Caribbean way of life, where meals are more than just food—they’re moments shared. Whether it’s a steaming plate of fish tenderly cooked to preserve its juiciness or a vibrant side of plantains or lentils, every dish is an invitation to experience comfort and tradition with each bite.
The portions arrive generously, reflecting a spirit of generosity that welcomes everyone from seasoned seafood lovers to those just discovering these authentic tastes. The room hums with an understated energy—familiar faces and new visitors alike enjoy the warmth of genuine, attentive service that feels more like an invitation from a caring friend than a transactional exchange.
Little Ochi is a gentle reminder that sometimes the best discoveries come from places where the atmosphere is as fluid and comforting as the food itself. It’s a quietly spirited sanctuary where joy is found in the simple details: the subtle heat of a house-made hot sauce, the bright freshness of a tossed salad, or the gentle sweetness of a well-crafted rum punch. This is a spot where cooking and hospitality come seamlessly together, offering more than a meal—a moment to belong and savor the richness of shared traditions.

Shanya ….. just ask for her !!! If your Not from the Caribbean ,South America , Asia or Africa …. You just won’t get it …. Vibez , relaxed atmosphere . You can’t slate this Restauraunt . Portions massive !! Try get the butter fish steamed , parrot fish or even snapper but just get it steamed , fried is good however you don’t get the full flavour of juiciness…. Sooo if you’re not too fussy and also haven’t woken up on the wrong side of the bed today then I’d say get yourself down here for some wholesome Jamaican food and it is really AUTHENTIC, reminds me of a restaurant down the road from truck stop in runaway bay in Jamaica and another until Kingston down the road from taboo. Listen just cum down and look for shanya and sniper!!!

Casual, intimate restaurant. You don't need to dress up because the guys does all the talking. Our server was wonderfully knowledgeable and gave us all good recommendations about the benefits of frying/steaming each fish. I had parrot fish steamed. It was beautifully clean eating and my veg sat in a pool of sauce that I could've drunk by the bucket. Every now and again you find a reasonably-priced gem where you take EVERYONE you know. This is one of those

There is cooked fish and there is cooked fish. The food is packed with flavour. My taste buds were dancing. The portions are very generous and the food is cooked fresh every time. I highly recommend this quaint restaurant to any fish lover. If you're not into fish, I'm sure they can convert you. Fantastic venue, fantastic food!!

Excellent meal, worth every penny. Travelled from Heathrow, and it shows distance doesn't matter. Been coming here for years and continue to do so.

Amazing sea food (Fish, lobster and Prawns). The fish is cooked to your preference, either fried or steamed. This is one of my favourite Caribbean spots in London. It brings you that Caribbean vibes. Overall, you just can't go wrong.

Really lovely restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the cooking methods, making my choice of fish and the chef then preparing according to how I like it. It was very tasty, the presentation of the dish was very appealing, and the portion size was ample. My only disappointment was that there did not appear to be any dessert menu. Even a little ice cream or cheescake would have been welcome. If there was dessert, it was not presented as an option. Friendly and helpful staff. Background music was nice also. I will definitely return for this tasty.

Nice restaurant. I chose my own fish, which was steamed to satisfaction while I waited. It was then served with vegetables and fruit native to the carribeen.
